An X-ray is a quick and painless test that uses low-dose X-rays to produce images of bones and joints. It makes it easy to detect fractures, wear and tear, or abnormalities. It is the most common medical imaging test and can be performed with a simple doctor’s prescription.

Ultrasound uses ultrasound waves (not X-rays), which makes it completely harmless. Using a small probe placed on the skin, it allows for real-time visualization of organs, muscles, tendons, and blood vessels. It is a painless, safe procedure that is accessible to everyone, including pregnant women.

Mammography, the gold standard in breast screening, uses a low dose of X-rays to detect potential abnormalities in the breast.

Targeted, ultrasound-guided injections of medications (anti-inflammatory drugs, local anesthetics, hyaluronic acid) into joints, certain tendons, and around nerves to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
